On the occasion of the 5th Africanity Summit, held in Rabat under the theme \u201cWomen\u2019s Leadership in Africa,\u201d His Excellency Mr. Macky Sall, former President of the Republic of Senegal and President of the Macky Sall Foundation, was awarded the prestigious Africanity Peace Trophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This distinguished honor was bestowed upon him by the Africanity Trophy Foundation in recognition of his unwavering commitment to peace, dialogue among peoples, political stability, and the sustainable development of the African continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beyond his contribution to peace, this award also acknowledges the many policies and initiatives implemented under his leadership to promote women\u2019s empowerment, their access to education, financing, entrepreneurship, and positions of responsibility. His efforts have helped strengthen the role of women in the economic, social, and political development of Senegal and Africa as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unable to attend the ceremony in person, President Macky Sall was represented by Mr. Oumar Demba Ba, his Diplomatic Adviser and Administrator General of the Macky Sall Foundation, who received the trophy on his behalf during this important continental gathering that brought together prominent figures committed to advancing women\u2019s leadership and enhancing Africa\u2019s global standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Receiving this distinction at a summit dedicated to women\u2019s leadership carries special significance. It reflects African-wide recognition of a remarkable journey marked by the promotion of inclusion, equal opportunities, peace, and the strategic role of women in the transformation of the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
